What do you do with straight, heavy, fine, and flat hair [pictures included]?

Face is blurred for obvious reasons:

My hair is usually dead straight in the back, but my hair was up all day that day that's why there are some waves in it.

Are there any suggested shampoos and conditioner?

Try to avoid have highlights.

How should I style my hair for school?

I think that your hair is gorgeous!

However, if you want more body and volume, get a haircut with LONG layers (so they're not too choppy) and if it suits your face, try some side bangs.

At night, maybe you could braid your hair, if you're going for waves, and in the morning, it'll be ready for school! :)

However, your hair looks really nice, and not flat at all. :) Good luck!

your hair isnt that fine, mines waaaaaaay finer!

use volumising or thickening shampoo and conditioner, i use john frieda, pantene, or tresseme.

when you hair is still wet, but not soaking or just a little bit damp, brush it, and run a small blob of volumising mousse (from the same range that you used to wash your hair) through the untire length of your hair evenly. blow dry it upside down. for extra lift use roolers at the roots.

it would help if you got some long layers at your next cut.

You should have layers cut. . just long layers (if you dont want length shorter) would help a lot and it would give it more of a style.

First of all you hair is in no way fine. Fine hair usually comes along with thin hair. I have very thin, fine hair and have found the shampoo, conditioner and volumizing creme from Sunsilk is working great for me.

altho it may involve hours at the salon, flexi rods would look really nice since your hair is so long. my cousin's hair is like your but maybe a ouple inches shorter. it generally lasts for about 2-3 weeks.

I think you have gorgeous hair? Straight, flat hair is in style and you are lucky enough to have a lot of it.

hmm.. use a light weight conditioner for sure... ! if your hair is not dry, use spray leave in conditioner instead.. and just use a deep conditioning mask weekly to maintain that healthy hair.. make sure ur hair is not loaded with products bcoz that can weigh your hair down..

i know this is a bit off from what you want but im just gonna suggest it anyway.. just in case u have a big event and want to look less-flat..

wash your hair normally.. but skip conditioner...air dry it 60%... then flip your head.. and dry it using a blow dryer in highest temp.. then after your hair is dry, switch to cool air (if you dont have a cool air setting.. then u can skip this step....)after that, mist spray with aerosol hair spray while ur head is STILL UPSIDEDOWN....swish your head back up..

you'll look extra voluminous first, but it'll go down in like 10 minutes (not super flat though...).. it your ends seem dry, rub a pinch of shine serum all over... fix fly aways by using a lash-comb sprayed with aerosol hairspray and brushing it through those "naughty-pieces"
