Any idea where I can get good pictures of hair curly updos for afro caribbean hair?

Ive worn a specific updo for almost two years. Its nice because it helped my hair grow. I cornrowed it up the crown.

And used gel activator to help bring out the curls and wore it high pony tailed ina fountain of curls. would I benefit from a texturizer to make it more manageable? I have afro quarter indian hair. And I want to change start of my new life. And maybe a colour.

I have Afro hair too.I have this magazine called Black Beauty(hair) and it has lots of different styles you can get as well as beauty information.Try looking for that magazine otherwise they should have magazines you can look at at your local hair salon.

I always buy Pride magazine, Black hair and beauty and Sophisticate's Black Hair, which is an American magazine with tonnes of pics.

I wouldn't say a texturizer would make your hair more manageable. A lot of people with Afro hair seem to think they need to make their hair 'more manageable' when really, they just need to learn how to take care of their own hair properly. Hope you don't think I'm getting on at you, I'm not. All a texturizer would do is loosen your curl pattern, making your hair seem longer, with looser curls. Having a texturizer brings it own set of issues as it is a chemical that alters your hair. This will make it weaker unless you are prepared to care for it properly, same with relaxers.

yeah you can texturize it,

cos it will make your curls softer and more easier to handle,

if i was you i would not dye your hair, unless its thick and really healthy,

black sophisticates magazine has so many hair styles in it,

but hre is the website.
